The boys and I went to Ft. Worth to see our Aunt Charlotte (Chare) the end of January. Cole started calling her Aunt Chare when he was little. These are picture of our trip to the Ft. Worth Zoo. We took Cole once when he was two or so. We went with Mimi and Papa(Scott's Dad and Stepmom). This Adam's first time. It started out a little chilly but turned out to be a really nice day. We stayed from 10:30 a.m. to almost 4 p.m. We covered every part of the Zoo I think. They boys were so worn out, but still did not want to leave. There are a lot of pictures, and most are the back of their heads, but enjoy.
Zebras
I think this was called a Popular Bear. We had just opened up the boys a snack and the bear was very interested. He was under the bridge until we showed up and stood up for quite sometime hoping for a bite.
The lions were pretty active. He was really roaring for us.
Mountain Lion
Cole and Adam loved this otter. He continued to swim back and forth. They ran with him forever and then sat to watch. Cole wanted so bad to get in and swim with him.
We rode the train back close to the entrance.
Meerkat. They were smaller than I expected.
Since we stayed all day, Adam did not get a nap. Needless to say, he was VERY sleepy.
