Fourth of July Weekend

Fireworks! Adam was afraid of the fireworks last year, but loved them this year.

We were able to watch fireworks Saturday and Sunday night.

Sunday afternoon we went to a friend's ranch to put corn in the feeders. We thought it would be a fun day out, but it rained too much for us to get out and play. The boys and Penny took a nice nap in the car.

The week before the fourth my Mom and I took the boys to their first Pecos Rodeo. Of course, I grew up going every year and knew they would love it. Adam was a little antsy, but did enjoy it.
There was a toothpick on the man's cowboy hat in front of Adam. I caught him reaching out to get it.

Our New Addition

Meet our new family member:
Penny Bell

We went to Carlsbad, NM last week to pick her out. We didn't think we were going to get her until July 4th weekend, but Scott had to work in Carlsbad on Monday and picked her up. She is six weeks old and we are in love! The kids have had a great time with her this week. I have not had much sleep due to getting up with her throughout the night, but it's worth it.
