Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving with Scott's family. We stayed at his Mom's house and his Aunt Bonnie invited us all over for Thanksgiving lunch which was wonderful. Uncle Mark grilled one turkey and fried another. What more could you ask for. Yum!
Cole and Aunt Jamie on the way to Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Mark's house. Cole was so excited to see Jamie. She took him to play miniature golf the day after Thanksgiving. They had a great time.

Scott's cousins were there, so all the kids were able to play together. We do not have the chance to all get together very often, so it was great to see everyone. Adam, Wyatt and Cole being boys and playing in the dirt.

The cute turkey place cards were made by Wyatt. Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Mark's house is so great for the kids. There is so much for them to do. These are the neighbors horses that walked over for a visit. Cole, Brooke, Corina and Adam hanging out on the tractor.Anthony giving Cole, Wyatt and Evan a tractor ride. This picture was taken on Thanksgiving 2007. They grow up so fast. This is Mimmie with all the great grandkids this year.

We truly have so much to be thankful for.

Fiddlestick Farms

Last weekend the boys and I went to a neat place here called Fiddlestick Farms. We went with our friend, Katy, and her son, Will. We took a hayride out to a patch of pumpkin and gourds. They boys picked out a few gourds to take home.
They had so much fun jumping on the "Corn Popper". We had never seen one. It is called a jumping pillow I think. Cole and Will tried their hand at roping and did very well. Then it was off for a ride on the Cow Train which is pulled by a tractor. Adam and I rode together on Elsie. I just fit in there with him. We finished off the fun with a walk through the Corn Maze. Cole and Will were great at deciding which path to take to get out. Adam moseyed along picking up the maize and drawing in the dirt. Fun Day!

Halloween

The boys were Super Heroes this Halloween. Cole asked to be Flash months ago. We had to order his costume and it was too big for him, but he still looked cute. Adam was obviously Batman. The masks were so fun.
Our neighborhood is pretty active on Halloween so some of our friends came over for dinner and then we took the kids trick or treating. This is is Will and Caiden with the boys.
It was a very successful trick or treating venture. Lots of candy and lots of fun.

Pumpkin Patch

Here are pictures of the boys at the pumpkin patch.

It is so hard getting a picture of both boys smiling.

We let the boys each pick out a pumpkin to take home. This is the first one Adam wanted. It was so big.

This is the one he ended up with.
Muscle man Cole putting his into the wagon.
The wagon is their favorite part of the visit. This is just what they did last year.

The boys helped just a little with the cleaning of the pumpkin.
They both thought is was pretty yucky.
Adam painted his pumpkin.

Cole did so good. He drew the face on and then carved it by himself.

He was very proud and being a little silly.

3T Ranch

Scott manages a good friend's ranch called the 3T. Scott needed to be there to guide a hunt, so we joined him. We had a great few days. We are very thankful for the experiences.
These deer were bottle fed. They were very gentle and really like cookies.
It is a neat experience.
The deer are so sweet and really nibbled at the kids.
