Thomas the Train

While Scott was in Colorado Elk hunting, the boys and I went to see his family in Marble Falls. Sondra (Scott's mom) called and let us know that Thomas the Train would be in Burnet, so we planned the trip. These first pictures are just down from Sonny and Sondra's house in Horseshoe Bay.

Here's Thomas. The boys were really excited to ride a train. It made it extra special that is was Thomas. Adam has asked every day since to ride Thomas the Train. It was a 20 minute ride. It was rainy and cold, but we had a good time.
Adam enjoyed the ride, but did not want to get close to the engine. Cole was happy to pose with Thomas.

Cole's 5th Birthday!

Cole had a dinosaur party this year. Complete with volcano cake and dino dig!
Cole helped decorate the cake. We used dry ice to make the volcano erupt! The kids loved it. It turned out really neat.

Cole had lots of help opening presents, but he did not mind at all. He loved everything he received.
Adam and Mawmaw! Our two wonderful mothers. They were such a big help. I could not have pulled it off without them. My Grandparents and Aunt Emma.My two dear friends, Mandy and Katy.Cole and Myrik in the dino dig area.
Party favors!
There were fireworks after the baseball game and Cole stayed up to watch. What a way to end a birthday!
We cannot forget Scott. He and Cole share a birthday you know. We did go out to dinner with a group of our friends on Friday night. He had presents and even blew out a birthday candle.

Cole's actual birthday started out with Birthday waffles.

Cole and I made cookies for him to take to Mother's Day out to celebrate with his friends at school.

Cole got a bow and arrow for his birthday. He was so excited. He cannot wait to hunt with Scott.

First Fall Soccer Game

Cole is playing soccer again this Fall. They have had three games now. These are pictures of his first game, which was on the day we had his party. He had a double header that day. It was great because he had a lot of spectators-Sondra (Scott's mom), my parents, grandparents and Great Aunt. Cole did really well.
