Polar Express

Mandy, Katy and I took the older boys to ride the Polar Express in Lubbock. We went over early on Saturday, December 12, had dinner and went for the ride.
Cole, Christian and Will waiting to board the train. They had a ton of energy. Just before this picture they were all over that pile of gravel you see behind them.

Group picture! The boys did well the whole ride. It lasted about 1 hour and 45 minutes. There were a few arguements about the window seat, but that was resolved by taking turns.

A picture with the conductor. During the ride, the Polar Express book was read over the speakers. The waiters even clapped and danced down the aisles before serving hot chocolate and cookies.

Cole and Christian

They shared the window seat. This was just a sweet picture of the boys.
They are such good buddies!

The conductor came by and punched a "P" for Polar Express on everyone's ticket.

We rode to the "North Pole", picked up Santa and his elves and then rode back to the station. The amazement in Cole and Will's eyes is fun.

Santa went to each child on the train and asked what they wanted for Christmas. It was a a lot of fun. I know Adam would have loved it. We will take them both next year.

Video of Santa on Polar Express!

Here are the boys talking to Santa! Cole froze up a little. He said he did not know what he wanted. Believe me, his list was long. They all received jingle bells.

Mimi and Papa visit

Mimi, Papa and Uncle Steve came and stayed the night a few weekends ago. It was a short but sweet visit.

Snow Day!

It snowed in Midland today. We haven't had snow in two years. Cole does not remember playing in it then and Adam was only six months old.

Anxiously waiting to play in the snow.

The slide was a little more slick than usual!

Here are their snow angels. Not sure if you can tell, but Adam's is just to the left of Cole's.

This is our snowman. Cole named him Pluto.

Decorating the Tree

We finally got our tree decorated. Cole was happy because we can start putting presents under it now.

Walkway of Lights

While in Marble Falls for Thanksgiving, we went to the walkway of lights. Here are just a few pictures. Aunt Jamie went with us.

This was Adam's first trip sleeping in a big boy bed. Aren't they sweet!
