Birthday Boy!

Cole turned 6! I am getting this posted a little late, but better late than never.
He had birthday pancakes that morning.
He wanted a puppy themed party this year, so I made puppy cupcakes and took them to his class at school that afternoon.
Aunt Jamie and Nonna came into town on Friday before his party and the boys went ahead and opened their presents.
That night we had a little celebration for Scott's Birthday. Poor Dad. His birthday gets a little lost in all my planning for Cole's party. I did bake him Coconut Lime Bread that he really likes.

Aunt Jamie and I were studying the cake. She helped me place the decorations.

Cole's finished cake. I made the puppies and decorations out of fondant.
Family picture. I usually try to get one on birthdays.
Uncle Steve with the boys.
Cole wanted to have his party at Chuck E. Cheese. They overbooked, so there were 7, yes 7, parties at the same time. It was a lot crowded, but the kids had a blast. I cannot say the same for parents:)

Mia. Such a pretty smile.

It was fun for Cole. We had a hostess that helped with everything. They sang to everyone and he got a crown and medal
Aunt Jamie and Adam
Cole got to cut his cake.
The ticket blaster is the whole reason Cole wanted his party at Chuck E. Cheese. He ended up grabbing 50 or so tickets. One of which was worth 200 tickets. The video is below.
We went home and let Cole open presents. My parents, my sister and Scott's family all came back to the house to watch.
Like last year, there were fireworks at the stadium that night. It is always a fun end to a fun day.

I turned the camera sideways when videoing the ticket blaster. I thought I could get a better shot, but I was wrong. I didn't realize the video would be sideways. Sorry.

Labor Day Weekend

We went to Marble Falls/Horseshoe Bay for Labor Day. Mimmie has to have surgery on her leg again and we wanted to go visit her before then. The weather was great, so the boys were able to swim in the lake.

This was Penny's first time swimming. She couldn't get enough. She did really good fetching sticks in the water.

Visiting Mimmie!
Love all the smiles.
Cole's photography
The boys love chicken and dumplings so Nonna usually makes a batch for us.
They were both able to help her this time.
