We finally got snow! The boys have been asking since before Christmas when we were going to get snow. Adam thinks when its Christmas time there should be snow. That is what is in all of our books about Christmas, so it makes sense. 
We woke up yesterday with a light blanket of snow and it was about 15 degrees. It was at least 75 degrees on Monday, so HUGE change overnight. Adam was so excited he wanted to get right out there - at 6:45 in the morning. It was definitely too cold, but we let him go out for about five minutes with triple layers on.
He made the most of it.
Today we had a two hour delay for school, so they went out and played this morning. This morning it was 9 degrees with a windchill below zero. Miserable. There were some pretty big icicles
hanging from the roof.
Penny has loved it in short amounts. This is her first snow so she was a little unsure, but now loves darting back and forth across the yard. It is supposed to be the same tomorrow. I don't ever remember snow staying for more than one day and here it is going on three. I am okay with that as long as I don't have to be out in it too much.
